RGC Hydro Services is a team of experienced hydrogeologists and water resource regulation specialists. RGC Hydro was founded by Lauren Candreva, R.G., on the principle of helping our clients Make Well Informed Decisions when exploring the water-related operational and compliance aspects of their projects. MEET LAUREN CANDREVA, R.G.
The founder of RGC Hydro Services, Lauren Candreva, is a registered geologist with over 21 years of experience as a consultant in water resources, environmental, and mining services. Based in Gilbert, Arizona, Lauren brings her understanding of hydrogeology, attention to detail, and efficient project management to every project she supports, including management of site characterizations, hydrogeologic investigations, groundwater modeling, and permitting efforts for a wide variety of clients.
Her technical expertise includes water supply well siting, permitting, design, construction, and testing; groundwater availability studies; well rehabilitation; state and federal in-situ mine groundwater permitting and wellfield installation oversight; monitor well installation and soil sampling using a variety of drilling methods; and aquifer testing and analysis.

PRINCIPAL HYDROGEOLOGIST
MEET IAN REAM
Ian Ream joined RGC Hydro as co-owner in 2025. Based in Tucson, AZ, Ian has more than 25 years’ experience working in water resources development, environmental compliance, and mining services. Ian’s career started in 1999, when he joined Tucson Water as a Hydrogeologist; he began consulting for mines and energy projects in 2007.
Ian’s experience includes design and operation of recharge and recovery projects, permitting and management of in-situ mining wellfields, heap leaching optimization projects, open pit dewatering programs, and data acquisition systems for wells and surface water installations. He has permitted, designed, and tested a wide variety of well types including industrial and mining water supply, drinking water, Class III injection, cathodic protection, environmental and operational monitoring, and dewatering/depressurization.
Ian has conducted water supply and water quality due diligence investigations for mining and energy projects, managed environmental compliance programs, and guided groundwater modeling projects.
